I will follow you as you walk in the fear of the Lord. Quiet Confidence will be draped around your neck like a strain of fine pearls.
This confidence which others seek can not be bought with money. They will be drawn to you. It is an inner confidence that others can not give to you. It must come from within, it comes from Me as you wait for Me.
Take my confidence, let me be as an ornament of grace around your neck and love upon your heart.
In Quiet Confidence |
Gallery Tour: You are looking at a watercolor called "In Quiet Confidence". There came at a point in my life when leaving empty space took confidence. Someone once said, "It takes confidence to leave the white, without adding something just to fill up the page. It takes confidence to say it is finished when others do not see it finished."
Isn't that the way with our Lord, He says, "It is Finished". We can not see it finished. We try to add something else.
I painted this painting with the words of Isaiah on my mind.
"In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and confidence shall be your strength." Isaiah 30:15 "And "The work of righteousness will be peace, and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever." Isaiah 32:17
Re-Stringing Pearls!
My Son, one of your attributes is communication. You are a man of few wordsm but your feelings go deep. You are known as a communicator, it is a gift. You speak softly but with authority. Use your words wisely, build others up, and allow others to come into your quiet confidence as you express your gift.
Words from Solomon which he learned from His Mother:
To know wisdom and instruction. To perceive the words of understanding, to receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, judgment, and equity. To give prudence to the simple, To the young man knowledge and discretion - A wise man will hear and increase learning and a man of understanding will attain wise counsel. To understand a proverb and an enigma, the words of the wise and their riddles. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction. Proverbs 1:1-6
