The evil ones will rebuke wise words and the scoffer will scoff at them.If you correct a scoffer, he will hate you, but rebuke a wise man, and he will increase in learning. Be willing to be corrected. The wise man will love correction, the foolish one will hate instruction. 

In leading your team, you will learn quickly, if you correct a scoffer, he will bring shame to himself, if you rebuke a wicked man, he only harms himself. Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser. Teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. It is the first step and only step to wisdom. It is essential for leadership. For yourself and also for your team.

Proverbs 9:7-12 He who corrects a scoffer gets shame for himself, and he who rebukes a wicked man only harms himselfl Do not correct a scoffer, lest he hate you; rebuke a wise man, and he will love you. Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wise; teach a just man and he will increase in learning. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knolwledge of the Holy One is understanding. For by me your days will be multiplied and years of life will be added to you. If you are wise, you are wise for yourself, and if you scoff, you will bear it along.
